Of course, the real unsung heroes in our schools are the teaching assistants and support staff who have had to step up big time.

Many of these are based in schools supporting vulnerable pupils and families so that teachers can deliver remote lessons.

Let’s not forget this. 👏🏻

In (normal) extenuating circumstances, contingency plans have always been in place for students missing exams, accidents/emergencies. Of course, #COVID19 is unbelievably exceptional, & on a mass-scale. Today's announcement is at least reassuring, but details are needed #exams2021
